Casa Granell, built between 1901 and 1903 and currently protected as a Cultural Asset of Local Interest, is a sample of the modest and unassuming beauty that the architect Jeroni Ferran Granell used to project in his works. Granell was one of the most discreet architects of the modernist movement, known for the aesthetic simplicity of his buildings.
The façade of the Granell house shows an unusual arrangement in the Eixample. While the balconies are located at the lateral ends, the central part is reserved for two pairs of rectangular windows. The wall is decorated with floral sgraffito and the window and balcony frames, as well as the lower part of the building, are made of stone; a typical ornamentation of its author.
The building consists of a total of a ground floor and 6 floors and is developed giving rise mainly to two houses per floor.
